Frequently Asked Questions

What is the BEST way to learn about the neighborhood?
Right here on our website! Membership fees go directly to private security patrol, beautifying our greenspaces and bringing us together socially (through cocktail parties, egg hunts, Halloween block parties, playgroups and more).

Members also receive a regular newsletter and additional “ news alerts ” as things happen in our hood - from crime, to utility emergencies/outages/updates. And when you go out of town, the security patrol will not only keep an extra close eye on your property, they will collect any packages too! Our neighborhood association is a great value, peace of mind and a wonderful way to connect in Castlewood.

Yes, one of the many benefits of membership is exclusive access to a list of babysitters, pet sitters, dog walkers and more. The list is maintained on this website (Sitters & Services) and access is given to all active members.

What about other city services?
The Atlanta Public Works Department website has a wealth of information regarding utilities, permits, bulk waste collections, and various home owner information. Visit www.atl311.com or call 311 to speak with a city representative.
